Watch your words

Did you know that our words have a lot of power behind them ? Yes, they definitely do have power behind them!!! When you are talking to other people and having a general conversation with them, do you notice if they talk positively or negatively? Do you talk positively or negatively? How do you respond ? We as gods children have to know that what we say, means a lot to ourselves and to others around us including the people we "hang out with". The bible tells us that we have power in what we say whether it be positive or negative. We as people of God need to always speak of good and prosperous things and also surround ourselves with people who do the same. Speaking life means to always have a mind and a tongue that will think positive and also talk positive and of course we all know that being negative is the opposite of that and that is what we do not want to do. We also need to learn how to respond positively with answers that do not stir up anger and frustration. When someone has done something wrong to you, the best way to respond is to praise God, pray and hold your peace.  Do not stoop down to that level of life. You are more than a conqueror, you are prosperous and you will succeed!  It is up to you to talk life (positively ) or death(negatively) in your life. If you are always talking death and negative things that stir up frustration, confusion and anger, then your life will become negative. If you talk life, peace, prosperity and success, then your life will become positive.  Remember that your words have power and  what you speak is what you will become.

“A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger. The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness.”

Proverbs 15:1-2 KJV

“A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.”

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”
